Personal Background
Francis resides in Los Altos Hills with his wife, Myla, and six children. An active twenty-year resident of the Los Altos community and former two-term Los Altos Mayor, he is a past Chair of the Board of the YMCA of the Midpeninsula, a current member of the Foothill-DeAnza Foundation, and has also served on Boards of the American Heart Association, the Palo Alto Senior Housing Project, Inc., and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, not to mention being a Little League manager (and past Board member) and AYSO (soccer) coach.
